The Xcerts - New single and debut album

The Xcerts kick start 2009 with their incredible new single ‘Crisis In The Slow Lane’ out on 9th March through Xtra Mile/King Tuts Recordings.
Building on their ability to write catchy and emotive distorted pop ‘Crisis In The Slow Lane’ boasts delicate verses that lead perfectly into huge, soaring choruses. Intelligently written it is a song that showcases this young band’s promising talent, setting the scene for an exciting year ahead.

The Xcerts

‘Crisis…’ is the first single to be taken from their eagerly awaited debut album ‘In The Cold Wind We Smile’ due out 23rd March on new label home Xtra Mile Recordings. The band recorded the album in North Wales with legendary producer Dave Eringa whose previous work includes Manic Street Preachers, Ash, 3 Colours Red and Idlewild. The final result is an album that stands tall among the band’s peers. An album that can caress you with harmonious vocals one minute and rip your face off with its riff laden hard-edge guitars and drums the next!

Having spent a lot of 2008 on the road touring with the likes of Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly, Twin Atlantic, Feeder and Fight Like Apes, The Xcerts have become a formidable live band with an ever increasing fervent fan-base.
You can catch them live throughout February when they hit the road with up and coming Scottish quartet Copy Haho
