Chris T-T - New EP & UK Headline Tour

Following the release of his seventh studio album ‘Love Is Not Rescue’ last year, national musical treasure Chris T-T releases the stunning EP ‘Words Fail Me’ on 11th April 2011 through Xtra Mile Recordings.

The closing track on ‘Love Is Not Rescue’, ‘Words Fail Me’ sees this lyric genius reflect on his career choices and depicts, in aching honesty, the creative process of writing the album, portraying personal crisis and self-doubt. Yet it’s a song of triumph and enlightenment with an upbeat tempo and a catchy hook – the perfect example of why Chris is a renowned and revered master of songwriting.

Already a favourite among the critics, both Tom Robinson and Andrew Collins have played the tracks on their 6Music shows, the latter also included ‘Love Is Not Rescue’ in his Top 10 Best Albums of 2010. Further praise has come from Radio 2 who over the past few weeks have played fellow album track, ‘Open & Shut’, and the traditional folk a capella number ‘M1 Song’

A creative powerhouse, Chris is also starting work on a follow-up album. Titled ‘The Battle of Clarkson's Lighthouse‘, it is being recorded with his band The Hoodrats and culminates with Jeremy Clarkson being thrown in the Irish Sea! It will be released later in the year with more information to come.
