Independent folk solo artist Emily Barker is set to release new single ‘Nostalgia' on 8th February through label Everyone Sang. The track will be released as a digital download and will be available through iTunes and other major DSPs.‘Nostalgia' has recently been featured as the opening title theme to BBC1’s highly acclaimed drama series ‘Wallander’ (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00pxtct) starring Kenneth Branagh.

The Bafta-winning theme tune emanates from Emily’s album ‘Despite the Snow’ and has also won a Royal Television Society award for best original theme. Not bad for a musician who has never owned a television set! The kick back from ‘Nostalgia' being featured in ‘Wallander’ has seen ‘Despite the Snow’ hit the No.1 spot on both the iTunes Singer/songwriter charts and Amazon’s MP3 Folk albums chart over the past fortnight.
