XTRA MILE RECORDINGS AT 2000TREES

11th – 13th July 2013

With a little over a week to go – Xtra Mile Recordings are preparing the final touches for what will be a fantastic weekend at this year’s 2000trees Festival.

As previously announced Xtra Mile have taken-over the GreenHouse Stage for the afternoon of Friday 12thJuly and will be hosting an array of special acoustic sets from our artists including: Jim Lockey& the Solemn Sun, The Xcerts, Beans on Toast, Ben Marwood, Fighting Fiction, Emily Barker & the Red Clay Halo and Crazy Arm.

They join a line-up already packed with our acts playing full band sets, including Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls, Retrospective Soundtrack Players, Fighting With Wire (playing their last ever UK show) and Thursday night headliners Future of the Left.

It will be a beautiful family affair as artists join each other on stage for special collaborations and performances across the weekend - but the good vibes don’t just end there.

Between 1pm and 3pm on the Friday Xtra Mile will be taking over the Swingball patch just by the GreenHouse Stage. Fancy chancing your arm at beating some of your favourite Xtra Mile acts at this popular tennis-inspired lawn game? Well now you can. We’ll be pitching bands vs fans as well as bands vs bands – in what will no doubt be a tournament of truth, honour and pride. But mostly it will be a bucket load of fun and a great way to meet the Xtra Mile roster and the Xtra Mile team. 

Come and find us there and/or at the GreenHouse Stage and say hello. Continuing our tenth anniversary celebrations – we will also have our Xtra Mile Recordings 10 merchandise for sale featuring t-shirts, tote bags, bracelets and posters.
