SENDFrankcat

Taking place on 19th December, as the year draws to a winter-y close, Frank Turner and friends will be presenting a one-off gig of music and celebration. Hand-picking fellow musicians to be part of the night, the line-up of rising stars, old friends and special guests will join him in a festive feast of fantastic folk/punk and acoustic music.

It’s been an incredible year for Frank which has seen him infiltrate daytime radio, sign a worldwide deal with Epitaph Records (ex-UK), play arena shows in America supporting The Offspring, play the NME/Radio 1 tent at Reading and Leeds Festival and burst into the charts with his third album Poetry Of The Deed – to name but a few of the milestones surpassed in the last 12 months.
This gig at the Union Chapel is the perfect way to toast to these successes before conquering even more in 2010

Tickets are £13 and are on general sale on Friday 11th September 2009
19th December 2009, London Union Chapel, Islington.

Random Hand - New single Anger Management

They have taught us we like it hot, tight and fast - The Fly

RANDOM HAND from Keighley in West Yorkshire are tearing up the UK scene, exploding across the nation's dancefloors with their ferocious in your face ska-punk-metal mashup. Drawing influences from four very different but totally compatible individuals, hooked on the buzz they create as a unit, Random Hand have been taking on all comers and playing alongside the likes of Sonic Boom Six, Leftover Crack, Agnostic Front, The King Blues and Skindred, building a solid and ever increasing following with their intense and dynamic shows.

New RH

May 2007 saw the release of the bands' debut album, 'Change of Plan,' constant touring including the Rebellion and City Invasion festivals and a triumphant set headlining the Topman Unsigned stage at the Leeds Carling Weekend. They ended '07 on tour with skapunk legends the Voodoo Glow Skulls, impressing the Glow Skulls enough to be invited to join the band on tour in America in Spring 2008, followed immediately by dates in the UK with Sonic Boom Six and Big D & The Kids Table and another busy summer capped with two storming sets opening the Lock Up Stage at the Reading & Leeds festivals, before finishing the year as guests of Streetlight Manifesto across the country.

RANDOM HAND's 2nd album, ‘Inhale/Exhale’ was released by Rebel Alliance Recordings in March 2009, coinciding with consecutive UK tours alongside Reel Big Fish, Propagandhi and label mates Sonic Boom Six. The first single to be released from the album is 'ANGER MANAGEMENT, ' due for release on 14th September on download and CD. A set was built and destroyed for the video to accompany this release, filmed in the New Variety Club in their hometown Keighley. Here’s what the critics had to say about ‘City of Thieves’:
This is witty, vital and utterly infectious fare. KKKK - Kerrang!
It's smart, joyous music that has plenty to say and does so eloquently. 4/5 - Big Cheese
A hundred word analysis cannot do this album justice, so let's just say it's one f*cking excellent album and get on with out lives? Agreed? Agreed. 9/10 Rock Sound
