Random Hand - Release new Album ‘Inhale/Exhale’

RANDOM HAND from Keighley in West Yorkshire are tearing up the UK scene, exploding across the nation's dancefloors with their ferocious in your face ska-punk-metal mash-up. Drawing influences from four very different but totally compatible individuals, hooked on the buzz they create as a unit, Random Hand have been taking on all comers and playing alongside the likes of Sonic Boom Six, Leftover Crack, Mustard Plug, Agnostic Front, The King Blues and Skindred, building a solid and ever increasing following with their intense and dynamic shows.

Random Hand

May 2007 saw the release of the band’s debut album, 'Change of Plan' on Riot Music to great reviews and a summer of constant touring including the Rebellion and City Invasion festivals and cumulating with a triumphant set headlining the Topman Unsigned stage at the Leeds Carling Weekend. The year ended with the band on tour with skapunk legends the Voodoo Glow Skulls, impressing the Glow Skulls enough to be invited to join the band on tour in America in Spring 2008, followed immediately by dates in the UK with Sonic Boom Six and Big D & The Kids Table and heading into another busy summer capped with two storming sets opening the Lock Up Stage at the Reading & Leeds festivals, before finishing the year as guests of Streetlight Manifesto across the country.

RANDOM HAND's 2nd album, ‘Inhale/Exhale’ is set for a February European release on ‘Rebel Alliance Recordings’ with a U.S.A release to follow late Spring, accompanied by almost constant touring throughout the year. "A punk rock mashup that will have you moshing one minute and skanking the next. Triumph awaits for Random Hand." - Big Cheese Magazine

"The band's ability to show their varied musical influences shines through consistently, making for an extremely interesting and ultimately enjoyable listening experience. So whether you like brassy ska-punk ('Snakes and Ladders') or something a little more aggressive (most of the other songs) there will be something for you on this record. One of the UK's best underground bands, hopefully this will help them get the credit they deserve." - Punktastic.com

"Random Hand entices an entire dance floor assembly, serving a concoction of metal, punk and ska. Considering the early time the sheer number of people pogoing from opener 'Answers' to closer 'Anthropology' is a sight to behold. It is the latest single to be taken from their incredible debut album ‘Promise’, released in the autumn of last year ‘Promise’ is a fiery explosion of emotionally driven power pop, contemporary narrative and pure dance euphoria, not only is it an album that showcases the band’s roots and influences but also their phenomenal musical flair. Produced by internationally revered producer Head whose back catalogue includes Massive Attack and PJ Harvey, ‘Promise’ is a sonic assault to excite the senses and invigorate the psyche, a beautiful vision that does not adhere to any here-today-gone-tomorrow scene.

The Xcerts - New single and debut album

The Xcerts kick start 2009 with their incredible new single ‘Crisis In The Slow Lane’ out on 9th March through Xtra Mile/King Tuts Recordings.
Building on their ability to write catchy and emotive distorted pop ‘Crisis In The Slow Lane’ boasts delicate verses that lead perfectly into huge, soaring choruses. Intelligently written it is a song that showcases this young band’s promising talent, setting the scene for an exciting year ahead.

The Xcerts

‘Crisis…’ is the first single to be taken from their eagerly awaited debut album ‘In The Cold Wind We Smile’ due out 23rd March on new label home Xtra Mile Recordings. The band recorded the album in North Wales with legendary producer Dave Eringa whose previous work includes Manic Street Preachers, Ash, 3 Colours Red and Idlewild. Tellison www.myspace.com/tellison
Canterbury www.myspace.com/canterbury
Loverman www.myspace.com/lovermantheband
Super Tennis www.myspace.com/supertennislovesyou

2008 saw the release of Tellison’s debut album ‘Contact! Contact!’ an album packed full of massive hooks, passionate melodies and brilliant independent pop songs that won the hearts of fans and critics all over the country. Following the demand from fans who wanted to remix these songs, Tellison handed over raw, unmixed versions of the album tracks and allowed them all to be taken off in new directions. Slowly these new versions came filtering back and amazed by the results the band decided to compile the best and release a remixed album.
Stunningly limited and lovingly packaged in a remixed version of the original album artwork "Contact! Contact! Remixed" including ‘Wasps Nest’ is available through the band's own label for as long as stocks last.

"This band are destined for great things Superb." - Rock Sound

“With their jerky dance- punk rhythms smoothed out into melodic choruses the trio pose the best kind of dilemma – should we try and dance or concentrate on learning the words?” NME
"Tellison deserve to rule the world." - The Fly
