The Xcerts - Set to Embark on their Largest Headline UK Tour

The Xcerts - Promo 4
THE XCERTS second album ‘Scatterbrain’ has already taken the band on an incredible journey. In the albums short lifespan the band have been on several headline tours with a fan base that grows at every show, performed in Europe for the first time where their album is also released, been played by most major national radio stations (Radio 1, Kerrang! radio…) and TV channels (Kerrang TV, Scuzz…) and toured with many of their favourite bands (Manchester Orchestra, Biffy Clyro, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New...). Not only that, but the band flew out to New York to record it with their favourite producer Mike Sapone!

Therefore it would seem foolish if the band did not take to the road to play ‘Scatterbrain’ to their devoted followers and new converts for one last time before heading into the studio to begin work on its follow-up. Dive Dive - New single 'Liar' & Frank Turner support

New single 'Liar' out 29th November, long-awaited third album early January 2011, digital re-release of back catalogue.

Oxford-based quartet Dive Dive have reconvened in some inexplicable time out from their current job of being Frank Turner's band, dragging singer Jamie Stuart with them. They've also brought back with them their third, self-produced album, 'Potential' which is preceded by the single 'Liar', out 29th November on Xtra Mile Recordings.

DD-2

'Liar' comes accompanied with a video that atones for the sins of leaving poor Jamie behind and leaving us without a Dive Dive record for so long. Guest starring the ever-present Frank Turner, Juju (of Little Fish) and Jamie Lenman (ex of Reuben), the video sees Tarrant Anderson, Ben Lloyd and Nigel Powell trying out frontmen from The Vocalist Warehouse. In the end, there's only one choice and it certainly isn't the man known for a fondness of folk music and beards.

Now, having had three years with three quarters of the band accompanying folk-rock trailblazer Frank Turner all over the world, their punchy post-hardcore has been refined and fuelled by a renewed desire to play together. As well as the release of 'Potential' next year, both of Dive Dive's previous albums will be available to buy from your favourite digital outlets on 29th November.

Since 2001, Dive Dive have been a growing concern. From their debut in 2005, 'Tilting At Windmills' came a barrage of positive press and fan adulation. The Independent, The Fly, Kerrang!, Rock Sound, BBC, NME and John Peel himself all fawned over their intial burst of high-octane energy. Their second album, 'Revenge of the Mechanical Dog', released in 2007, built upon their scathing riffs and stop-start dynamics.

Tracklisting:
1. Mr 10%
2. The Alarum
3. Damage Control
4. Liar
5. The You In Me
6. Wherewithal
7. Ape Like Me
8. Collapse From The Hurt

The Irrepressibles - ‘St. Valentine's Day Massacre’

‘St. Valentine's Day Massacre’ Live at Queen Elizabeth Hall

Celebrating the festival of love and romance in true twisted and theatrical style, The Irrepressibles present a St. Valentine's Day Massacre on 14th February 2010 at the stunning Queen Elizabeth Hall on London’s Southbank.

The Irrepressibles

Whether blissfully in love, bitterly scorned or looking for the one, this live performance spectacular promises to be visually and aurally captivating, with its conceptual set and teams of artists in film, dance, avant-garde costume and make-up.

Bringing to life the music from their debut album ‘Mirror Mirror’ The Irrepressibles will take the audience on a thrilling and awe-inspiring journey, led by composer and artist Jamie McDermott.

‘Mirror Mirror’ is released on 11th January 2010 on Major Record Label through V2 /Cooperative. Fusing European orchestration with pop melodies and soaring cathartic vocals, it is a theatrical, playful and passionate album. From the dramatic opener ‘My Friend Jo’ to the galloping rhythms of ‘Anvil’ and the yearning echoes of ‘Forget The Past’, ‘Mirror Mirror’ is a superbly constructed sonic exploration of McDermott's confessional stories. Love, anger, lust and loss signpost the journey through The Irrepressibles’ mystical and theatrical world.

Tickets are on sale to Southbank members on the 7th January and the general public on the 8th January.

Expect the extraordinary...

“Exotic, baroque, this is the Oscar Wilde comeback album the world needs.” 4/5 Uncut
"an enchantingly theatrical pop extravaganza" Robert Sandal, Sunday Times
“The Irrepressibles are one of Britain's best-kept secrets…” Simon Price, Independent On Sunday
